Sheltowee (meaning Big Turtle) was the name given to Daniel Boone when he was adopted into the Shawnee Tribe as the son of the great War Chief, Blackfish.
What We Do:
Sheltowee Farm offers full care boarding with an on-site staff 24 hours a day at our 2 locations in Midway and Lexington, Kentucky. We also offer lay-ups and rehabilitation.
Sheltowee Farm is staffed by experienced horseman who not only care for the horses but also our clients. We offer constant communication with our clients. We believe that it is important to work as a team to properly care for your horses.
